That’s the thing about vanity and ego, they make people believe they’re superior to others, even to the point of taking another’s life just so they can be better. It reminds me of a children’s story that dealt with the same theme, though of course told in a way suitable for children. The mirror was simply doing its job, but at a certain point that vanity was devoured by the mirror itself. I love stories involving that object, because there’s so much talk and so many beliefs surrounding it.

I suppose the ending of the story is quite realistic, there will always be a woman who wants to remain beautiful forever and who never wants time to take its toll on her body, so much so that she’ll reach for the mirror and use it. Thank you so much for always being there for the community. A big hug!🤗

Es lo que pasa con la vanidad y el ego, hace a las personas creerse superiores a otras incluso poder tomar la misma vida de otros para uno ser mejor. Me recuerda un cuento infantil que hablaba de lo mismo, pero por supuesto relatado para niños. El espejo sólo hacía su trabajo, pero llegado un momento esa vanidad era devorada por ese mismo espejo. Me encantan las historias relacionadas con ese objeto, porque mucho se habla y se cree sobre ellos.

El final de la historia supongo que es bastante realista siempre habrá una mujer que quiera ser siempre hermosa y que nunca pase el tiempo en su cuerpo, como para tomar el espejo y usarlo. Muchas gracias por estar siempre presente en la comunidad. Un gran abrazo!🤗
