What a wonderful hobby! It’s true that not only can you learn a great deal from this activity, but it can also be very relaxing. It’s certainly true that it requires a great deal of patience and is best enjoyed in places far from the city, such as the countryside or the mountains. I’ve rarely had the chance to do it, but when I have, it’s been marvellous. If there weren’t so much light pollution, the world would see some truly marvellous sights.

It’s also true what you say about protecting your eyes during an eclipse; I read reports that many people suffered irreversible damage to their eyes because they didn’t use the right protection. It must have been a spectacular sight, absolutely magnificent!! Thank you so much for the invitation; I took part at the start of the month, but it’s great to see more people getting involved. Que maravilloso hobby! Es verdad no sólo se puede aprender mucho de esta actividad sino también puede producir relajación. Si es verdad que es algo que lleva mucha paciencia y es mucho mejor en lugares alejados de la ciudad, como los campos o las montañas. Pocas veces tuve esa oportunidad, pero cuando lo he visto es maravilloso. Si no hubiera tanta contaminación lumínica el mundo vería maravillas.

También es verdad lo que mencionas sobre la protección de los ojos ante un eclipse, leí noticias que muchas personas vieron afectados sus ojos irreversiblemente por no usar la protección adecuada.
