I love true stories, the ones that people actually live through and experience, because they’re the ones most worth telling, and they can be more terrifying than a work of fiction. What I see here is mainly a matter of suggestion; I don’t think that, chemically speaking, the tree could bear fruit that is, shall we say, poisoned, simply because it’s in a cemetery. The plant itself rids itself of all that is harmful, although it’s true that the water flowing through the groundwater closest to the bodies is contaminated and cannot be drunk; in fact, the taps in cemeteries say: ‘Water not fit for drinking’.

In that sense, it’s possible, and only possible, that the fruit might be spoiled if the tree draws water from that source, but not because of a curse or anything of the sort. Now… as a story, it’s excellent because it really does strike fear into people’s hearts, even though nothing serious actually happens. I loved that you took part, and especially in this way. Me encantan las historias reales, aquellas que realmente se viven y experimentan porque son las que más valen para contar y que pueden ser más terroríficas que una historia de ficción. Aquí lo que veo es sugestión sobre todo, no creo que químicamente el árbol pueda dar frutos digamos, envenenados, por estar en un cementerio, la misma planta se purga de todo lo malo, aunque es verdad que el agua que corre por la napas más cercanas a los cuerpos está contaminada y no se puede tomar, de hecho los grifos de los cementerios dice: Agua no potable.

En ese sentido puede y sólo puede que la fruta no esté en buen estado si el árbol toma de esa agua, pero no porque haya un maleficio o cosa parecida. Ahora.. como historia es excelente porque si que la gente siente terror, aunque en verdad no pase nada grave. Me encantó que participaras y más de esta manera. Muchas gracias. un gran abrazo!💗
