I didn't know about this tradition until I came to Spain. I experienced it for the first time in 2019 and was completely surprised for many reasons. Beyond the religious aspect, it has also developed into a tradition for the local population, and tourists come to see it. I really couldn't believe what I was seeing.

The connection you've made with the film is great, because in both there are cycles, and I would say that they are always the cycles of life itself, from birth to death, and then the cycle begins again. Very good photographs, especially the close-ups of the faces. Thank you and big hug!

No conocía esta tradición hasta que llegué a España. La viví por primera vez en el año 2019 y quedé totalmente sorprendida por muchos motivos. Más allá del punto de vista religioso, también se desarrolla como tradición de una población y los turista vienen a ver esa tradición. Realmente no podía creer lo que veía.

La relación que has realizado con la película es grandiosa, porque tanto en una como en otra hay ciclos y podría decir que siempre se trata de los ciclos mismos de la vida, desde el nacimiento hasta la muerte y nuevamente un ciclo comienza.
