This afternoon, I decided to go for a little walk along Penycwm beach; not too far away from where I am staying, for a short holiday, right on the edge of West Wales. It's was around 4 degrees Celsius (~39 degrees Fahrenheit), so not exactly the usual beach weather, but the rain showers had cleared leaving behind a wonderful, brisk and sunny afternoon. I grabbed my hat, gloves and coat and set off for an adventure.

Whilst walking on the beach, taking photos of the breathtaking scenery (I'll post more when I am somewhere with a decent Internet connection) I decided to leave my mark, and show some love for Steemit, by creating a Steemit logo in the sand.

I made my first attempt at creating a logo near the shoreline, hoping to get some nice pictures of the sand, the logo and the sea, but the tide had turned and was coming in quicker than I had anticipated:

I moved further up the beach and reassessed the design; I started by creating the wavy icon out of seaweed:

The rest of the logo I made out of pebbles which I collected from the beach:

I also went a step further and created a design including my username as a sort of Proof of Work:

All of the photos are original content and were shot on my OnePlusOne

From another angle; it's hard to read, but I liked the aesthetics:
