Colombo, Sri Lanka is a beautiful city indeed, specially from the sky. And I got to see it myself. How? That's because of my carrier. And that is one of the several things why I love my job.
Well, I'm a past out Civil Engineer working as a Consultant Civil Engineer in one of the well known company. Being a Consultant I can travel to different construction sites which my company currently doing business with. So in the recent past a high rise apartment complex project came near to the end of the construction. The building was named as 447 Luna Tower.
Since this was a large scale project and there were several things to learn and see my senior engineer got me and my co-workers the permission to enter the site and see what's going on. I was so excited about this cause I love heights.
Anyway on the decided day we went to the site rather completed apartment complex I would say. And since we were all excited about the rooftop we started our tour from the most highest level of the building.
Even though the building had 44 floors there were 50 level all together with the machine room levels etc. And we got to get on to the 50th level. And it was so exciting. The wind speed there was high. At some point I felt like I'm flying. But I did not felt fear even though there were no safety barriers at the edges. I don't know why, maybe because I love high place.

After enjoying the beautiful view for a little while we decided to go downstairs cause the sun was not helping.
