This is a lovely little moment to capture. This cat comes here every day to drink from the tap! It will stand up onto its back legs, and carefully drink from the fountain. This looks like it could be a daily ritual! Something this cat really enjoys.
Cats can be very choosy when it comes to water. Many enjoy moving or fresh water as it instinctively makes them feel like the water is fresher. Some prefer to drink from higher up, whereas some will stick to drinking from somewhere they feel comfortable from. A lot of this is down to their curious nature, and they will often get into a routine. Coming here everyday could be because this is now part of their routine.
The way this cat is standing up on its back legs and reaching towards the stream shows how focused this cat is. It is using its posture to reach the water and doing everything very carefully. This shows that cats do have routines and ways of understanding the world around them. Taking your time to observe can teach you a lot about this cat!
