79 Vernon Street is named for the street address of the Mill, the arts collective in Hartford, CT, where I wrote and recorded the bulk of the album over a period of several years. The writing and recording of the songs on 79 Vernon Street involved many of my good friends, including drummer Alex Rusbarsky, who contributed to almost every song on the record.
