It would be an understatement to say that I'm excited about what blockchain tech is doing for the music industry. As they are today, however, both extant platforms are still rather slow and clunky. I don't hold this against them at all, though - with all the success Steemit has had so far, and the constant hype of cryptocurrencies in the news, it's easy to forget that we are very much in the midst of a nascent world. That being said, I (as most artists should) have also put my music on all the major traditional streaming and download platforms.
