From 79 Vernon Street to the Immutable Web
Just yesterday I uploaded my first song to @Musicoin, and today I went on to put my whole album from last year, 79 Vernon Street on the platform. It would be an understatement to say that I'm excited about what blockchain tech is doing for the music industry. I'm sure that it will be nothing short of revolutionary once sites like Musicoin, Muse (shout out to @rumble for alerting me to it) and of course DSound become the norm and iTunes goes the way of CDs and tape cassettes.
Listen to me now on Musicoin!
As they are today, however, both extant platforms are still rather slow and clunky. I don't hold this against them at all, though - with all the success Steemit has had so far, and the constant hype of cryptocurrencies in the news, it's easy to forget that we are very much in the midst of a nascent world. That being said, I (as most artists should) have also put my music on all the major traditional streaming and download platforms.
Listen to my album, 79 Vernon Street in all the usual places.
Watch "Luv Wit U", track 03 off 79 Vernon Street, live at the Mill!
As always, thanks for reading and Steem On! Don't forget to upvote, resteem and leave a comment if you like my content. 馃馃徏
