79 Vernon Street was recorded with many of my friends, including Max Fertik of Rhode Island-based Public Alley, who plays on "Cumm Around?". This song was heavily inspired by the Rock & Roll and R&B of the 60s, especially Motown groups (which I LOVE) and similar acts like the Crystals. I co-wrote the lyrics with my friend Paige Marut and played it first in a band comprising myself, Mali-B and bassist Pete Prendergast.
