It's usually late at night, after you've spent hours upon hours on some activity of dubious value, that you start to wonder, "Am I doing my life right?" And as you ash another over-taxed cigarette and watch the characters on your television screen saving the world thirty minutes at a time, counting each of their carefully written, never wasted choices, your own life begins to feel smaller, and smaller, and smaller, until you can no longer marvel even at the miracle of life itself in all its banality.
