A very beautiful day to everyone, i want to make a few points on being African.
It's not been very easy being an African especally from this western part that is nominated with black skin colour. One thing av come to learn about being African is the fact that you have to appreciate yourself before some others do.
Most white skinned race would always want to segregate, call you black monkey and all sorts of names just to humiliate you and make you feel worthless, valueless and less important but the truth remains the fact that you still have to value yourself and learn to appreciate being African just like i myself have done.
You can bleach a black skin to white skin just to deny your color but you cannot deny the fact that history will still trace you down to being an African. President Obama, the immediate past president of America by skin color is white, lived most f his life in the United States, occupied many political positions down to the day he became president and history had to trace back to his origin of being an African from Kenya but one things that interests me most was that he had whole hearted accepted his fate, which had make him a historic record breaker of being the first African black man to rule the whites in a white man land.
That's to say that no matter the circumstances, one should always learn to appreciate being African.
Black skin can be bleached or undergo surgery to become white but white skin can never turn black, that's to say that black is original.
Black is original, black is beautiful, black is inspiring, black is powerful, black is charming, black is love, black is exceptional, black is tender, black is lovable, black is wonderful, black is mystery, black is nonsentimental, black is not hypocritic, black is non segregative.
These attributes are default in black race and gives me more reason to love being African. We have the big population, we have the market, we have the cultural values, we have the norms and exceptional peoples way of life. Why then we I want to kill myself for being African?
A lot of white people have come to understand the Africans even more than Africans understand themselves and you will always see them investing into Africa to harness the love they have for black skin.
An average black African is creative, culturally mannered and shares love as much as he can afford, builds relationships, love, affection and values marital homes with his or her life. We say no to abortions, we preach against it, holding our religion strong to with high esteem, we say no to divorce and cling to our wives till death do us part. Sometimes, most widows and widowers end up dying with remarrying as a sign of respect and absolute live to their initial life partners and this is more often, when they have kids. So, why would i not be proud of being African?!
The love stories of Africans most times seems like life in the movies, we find love in common things, we build relationships strong without lust and hate nor cheats.
When we marry, we build our homes with love, teaching our children they ways of life using our religious beliefs as strong holds to attain and imbibe in them, high moral values and standards, we teach them how to live for the best, the husband becomes one with the wife and both becomes one with the children, with so much pride for being Africans.
Poverty is one thing that will always be attributed to Africans but i tell you more solemnly that Africans are living high above poverty. We are becoming investors, creators of contents, importers and exporters, adding more value to our economy and that of the western worlds.
I am Nigerian, i am black and i love being African.
I may be poor today but i am rich tomorrow cos i know who i am.
Never judge me by my skin color rather, let my actions and deeds speak for me.
