You're right dude! The presale voucher system isn't fair to you... you've pretty much come along at the exact wrong time and it doesn't help you at all. I don't know how true this is, but apparently there are guilds waiting to get into Splinterlands in a big way and are intending to buy up millions of packs for their guidies... in this case, the voucher is fair for me because it means I'll get an opportunity to buy packs for $4 before they're all snapped up. All the devout would be so mad if 14 million packs were bought on the first day (which is entirely possible, it happens with bots buying Nike sneakers every day) and then we'd have no chance at the promo card and be forced to purchase packs at market prices.
I know I won't convince you that it's a good idea or that it's fair for you. It isn't... but I appreciate the system personally.
If you're out for pure airdrop points then DEC is absolutely your best bet. I've barely spent any DEC since the airdrop started... but remember that DEC is inflationary, more is printed every day, so while it's good for airdrop points... if you spent $10K on DEC today, there's a good chance it's only worth $9k in a month.
(Personally I'm a little worried that DEC will tank hard immediately after the airdrop finishes, I might spend all mine a week beforehand.)
The other comments in this thread are excellent... you've got a good supportive crew here! Also, you have Djinn Oshannus! I don't have this card yet but I want it so bad.
