Morning running... so good.

I just finished a 4.22km run that lasted about 0hh:26mm:1ss !

So, when I was working from home, I would head out around 10am which was lunchtime in the midwest. Now, I'm getting out at 6am as soon as I wake up, and it is delightful. Obviously it's summer and so beautiful out at that time. Pretty rockin'! I've always been pretty keen to start the day with a bunch of activeness, but starting work at 6am for the past few years killed that.

Still don't know what my job is.... basically they're happy for me to just meet with peeps and sit in meetings for the next couple of weeks. It's a pretty amazing way to start any new job... usually I'm just given access to the systems and told to sit in the corner and fix all the things. I think I was in meetings for literally every single minute today. So many listens.

Work has a running challenge, I've got 20 days to clock in 40 more kilometers. I've done 8.48 of 48.28kms (30 miles). Gonna have to step it up.

So, ah, this is our kitchen at the mo.... progress?
