I managed to get some more updates done today on my minimalist blog viewer for steem :)
Todays updates [3am 11/4] :
Most image urls will now automagically turn into images thanks to this regex (this took me ages to get working nicely) : /([a-z\-_0-9\/\:\.]*\.(jpg|jpeg|png|gif)(?!["\)]))/i
Reorganised post display and html sanitisation logic for usability
Reorganised and reformatted post headers for clearer separation between posts (thx @pfunk )
Added better handling for users that haven't set display name/about/pictures
More style changes and additions, for example "pull-left" and "pull-right" classes are available now

We already have 3 users helping test : @faddat , @verelst & @joseph all of your sites look much nicer with the updated script :)
FYI : You can set your "cover image" via steemconnect here to customize your site header more if you want.
Going forwards I really need to work on branding for this project - I was thinking of using "steemlink" , because I already had steemlink.com .. Any objections/thoughts ?
