Greetings and blessings to my dear crafting friends. I hope you are all in good health and doing well.
My heart is filled with joy because I鈥檝e already sent the five comfort pillows for the initiative, designed to bring a little comfort to the child survivors of the earthquakes in Venezuela that I mentioned in this post.
As I worked stitch by stitch, I couldn鈥檛 help but think of the little hands that will one day hold them. I imagined those children finding a moment of calm amid such a difficult reality. In that moment, I realized, once again, that crochet can also become a language of love, empathy, and hope.

Mi coraz贸n est谩 regocijado porque ya envi茅 las cinco almohaditas de alivio para la iniciativa, pensada para llevar un poco de consuelo a los ni帽os sobrevivientes de los terremotos en Venezuela de las que habl茅 en esta publicaci贸n.
Mientras avanzaba puntada tras puntada, no pod铆a evitar pensar en las peque帽as manos que alg煤n d铆a las abrazar谩n. Imaginaba a esos ni帽os encontrando un instante de calma en medio de una realidad tan dif铆cil. En ese momento comprend铆, una vez m谩s, que el crochet tambi茅n puede convertirse en un lenguaje de cari帽o, empat铆a y esperanza.
Each little pillow holds a little piece of my time, my dedication, and, above all, my heart. Knitting them was my way of telling them鈥攚ithout words鈥攖hat they are not alone.
My deepest gratitude goes to the people who spearheaded this initiative and to all the knitters who joined in. Thank you for reminding us that, when many hands come together, it鈥檚 possible to go much further.
Today I鈥檓 reaffirming something I鈥檝e always believed: everything done with love has the power to connect people, cross borders, and sow hope. And even though these five little pillows may seem like a small gesture, I鈥檓 convinced they鈥檒l brighten someone鈥檚 life鈥攁nd for me, that鈥檚 the true magic of knitting.
Cada almohadita lleva un pedacito de mi tiempo, de mi dedicaci贸n y, sobre todo, de mi coraz贸n. Tejerlas fue mi manera de decirles, sin palabras que no est谩n solos.
Mi profunda gratitud para las personas que impulsaron esta iniciativa y para todos los tejedores que se sumaron. Gracias por recordarnos que, cuando muchas manos se unen, es posible llegar mucho m谩s lejos.
Hoy confirmo algo que siempre he cre铆do: todo lo hecho con amor tiene el poder de conectar personas, cruzar fronteras y sembrar esperanza. Y aunque estas cinco almohaditas parezcan un gesto peque帽o, estoy convencida de que iluminar谩n la vida de alguien, y para m铆 esa es la verdadera magia de tejer.
