El nido vuelve a quedar vacío, mi hija vuela de nuevo con sus alas más grandes y más fuertes, pero ahora llegará más lejos. Ha crecido mucho y está bien preparada para recorrer nuevos mundos y segura estoy de que los conquistará y comenzará a escribir su historia de vida con tenacidad, éxitos y muchas bendiciones.
The nest is empty again, my daughter flies again with bigger and stronger wings, but now she will go further. She has grown a lot and is well prepared to travel new worlds and I am sure she will conquer them and begin to write her life story with tenacity, success and many blessings.
Como padres, siempre incentivamos a nuestra hija a salir de casa, a ser independiente, a ir tras sus sueños. Pero no puedo negar que sentimos el mismo vacío y los mismos sentimientos encontrados, tal cual como los sentimos la primera vez, cuando apenas era una chica de 16. Una mezcla de felicidad y nostalgia se agolpan en nuestros corazones al verla alzar su vuelo a otros cielos. A alcanzar nuevas metas y a echar raíces lejos del hogar.
As parents, we always encourage our daughter to leave home, to be independent, to go after her dreams. But I can't deny that we feel the same emptiness and mixed feelings, just as we did the first time, when she was just a 16-year-old girl. Este poema de la Madre Teresa de Calcuta nos explica en sus hermosos versos que nuestro rol como padres es encaminarlos y formarlos con valores y principios para que caminen fortalecidos hacia su futuro como seres independientes, seguros y con la huella de nuestro amor marcada en sus corazones.
It is the law of life, and we must motivate them to be free and prepare them to stand up for themselves in the future. El día de ayer, entre lágrimas, risas y mi corazón palpitando desbocado, sentí la satisfacción del deber cumplido. Mi única hija ha emprendido el vuelo y aunque estemos lejos, el amor más grande nos mantendrá siempre unidas.
Yesterday, amidst tears, laughter and my heart beating wildly, I felt the satisfaction of a job well done. My only daughter has taken flight and although we are far away, the greatest love will always keep us united.
