I recently got to open the little box where I keep my jewelry-making supplies again. As soon as I opened it, I felt that excitement I get when I come across something I really love. With wires, tiny beads, and crystals at my disposal, I decided to make something simple yet special: a black bracelet with tiny beads and Murano glass.
I wanted it to be an elegant piece that would go with everything, but also practical. That鈥檚 why I knew from the start that I didn鈥檛 want to use a clasp. I liked the idea of it being adjustable, so that any woman could wear it without worrying about her wrist size. Something versatile, comfortable, and beautiful.

Hace poco pude volver a abrir la cajita donde guardo mis materiales de bisuter铆a. Apenas la abr铆, sent铆 la emoci贸n de cuando me encuentro con algo que me gusta mucho. Entre alambres, perlitas y cristales, decid铆 hacer algo sencillo pero especial: una pulsera de perlitas y muranos en color negro.
Quer铆a que fuera una pieza elegante que combinara con todo, pero tambi茅n pr谩ctica. Por eso desde el inicio tuve claro que no quer铆a usar cierre. Me gustaba la idea de que fuera ajustable, que cualquier mujer pudiera usarla sin preocuparse por la medida de su mu帽eca. Algo vers谩til, c贸modo y bonito.
To make it, I used 18-gauge gold wire as the base and 26-gauge wire for the details. I chose black No. 4 faceted crystals and paired them with No. 4 seed beads. I love this combination because the black adds elegance and the beads give it that delicate touch that never fails. I also used my usual tools: the six-in-one pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, and wire cutters. Having the right tools makes all the difference, especially when you want a clean finish.
I started by cutting a piece of 18-gauge wire about 18 cm long. Using the six-in-one pliers, I made a small loop at one end, firm but delicate. Then came the most fun part: inserting the tiny pearls and Murano beads one by one, playing with the order until the entire wire was covered. I took my time, enjoying the process without rushing, because for me, weaving or assembling pieces is also a way to relax. Finally, I made another loop to finish the bracelet.
Once I had the entire base ready, I took the 26-gauge wire and began securing each stone. I wrapped the wire around each one twice, patiently, making sure they were securely fastened and aligned. This step requires attention. I love seeing how the piece begins to take shape and character.
Para hacerla utilic茅 alambre dorado calibre 18 como base, y calibre 26 para los detalles. Eleg铆 cristales facetados n煤mero 4 en color negro y los combin茅 con perlitas tambi茅n n煤mero 4. Esa mezcla me encanta porque el negro aporta elegancia y las perlas le dan ese toque delicado que nunca falla. Adem谩s, trabaj茅 con mis herramientas de siempre: la pinza seis en uno, la pinza plana, la de punta redonda y el cortador. Tener las herramientas adecuadas hace toda la diferencia, sobre todo cuando quieres que el acabado se vea limpio.
Empec茅 cortando un pedazo de alambre calibre 18 de aproximadamente 18 cm. Con la pinza seis en uno hice un peque帽o loop en una de las puntas, algo firme pero delicado. Luego vino la parte m谩s entretenida: ir insertando una a una las perlitas y los muranos, jugando con el orden hasta cubrir todo el alambre. Me tom茅 mi tiempo, disfrutando el proceso sin af谩n, porque para m铆 tejer o armar piezas tambi茅n es una forma de relajarme. Al final, hice otro loop para terminar la pulsera.
Cuando ya ten铆a toda la base lista, tom茅 el alambre calibre 26 y comenc茅 a asegurar cada piedra. Fui haciendo dos vueltas alrededor de cada una, con paciencia, cuidando que quedaran bien sujetas y alineadas. Este paso requiere atenci贸n. Me encanta ver c贸mo la pieza empieza a tomar forma y car谩cter.
In the end, I absolutely loved the result. A beautiful, elegant, and delicate bracelet. The contrast between the black and gold really stands out, and the tiny pearls add that soft, feminine touch that makes it special.
And best of all, it reminded me of how much I enjoy creating things with my hands.馃挍
Al final, el resultado me encant贸. Una pulsera tipo brazalete, hermosa, elegante y delicada. El contraste del negro con el dorado resalta much铆simo, y las perlitas le dan ese toque suave y femenino que la hace especial.
Y lo mejor de todo es que me record贸 lo mucho que disfruto crear con mis manos.馃挍
