The night sky of Death Valley National Park is spectacular, ethereal. It’s clear, beautiful, and astonishing. The constellation shown is Orion. It’s arguably the most recognizable winter celestial object in the night sky (of the Northern Hemisphere). Certainly it’s a favorite amongst astrophotographers.
