No Leader has no Followers, nor can a follower have a Leader. The Nature of Leadership is no longer a Natural Gift, even now it tends to be a Commodity that can be learned and traded. It is ironic when you are the leader of the company but do not get Appreciation and Attention from your Subordinates and Colleagues.
Leaders and Followers are an Inseparable Couple, in an Organizational Structure Specifically, be it a Business Company. Leaders must have Influence to convince Followers and vice versa a follower needs a figure that can be a role model and role model. The success of an Organization depends on the followers who run the entire Action Plan. Good Leadership is a Leader who has a Good Leader as well. So it can be concluded that the Effective Organization is Leadership + Followership. Leadership effectiveness will be seen to what extent the Followers make us as Leaders.
There are 5 types of followers (Follower) according to Rober E Kelley which can be seen from both sides of "Critical Thinking" and "Contributive". First Dimension: Independent, Critical Thinking versus Dependent, Uncritical Thinking.
Second Dimension: active versus passive behavior. The Active Individual always contribute to the Organization while the Passive Individual will require Supervision and Supervision and constant Encouragement.

Alienated followers are alienated because they still need attention and guidance.
Conformist is an Active Followers but not Critical Thinking.
Pragmatic Survivors are followers who tend to find safety in every circumstance, and are able to adjust to any condition.
Passive Follower sometimes tends to have no initiative and responsibility so that they are completely discharged to their Leaders.
Effective Follower is an example of a highly desirable follower due to Active Contribution in Action and Thought on Organization.
