This album is a collection of compositions tuned to specific frequencies to stimulate and arouse the masculine and feminine hemispheres within the body, designed to merge and activate these two energy systems into one sacred vibration in resonance for balance and empowerment. The analog frequencies experienced while listening to this project builds an energetic bridge of vibration that balances and clears the mind, body and soul. Each composition is composed by Shiro Fujioka aka VoltageCtrlr (Voltage Controller) using his analog modular synthesizer. Each piece is a live improvisation tuned into the moment with the intension to heal, clear stuck energy and stimulate balance and higher states of consciousness.
Shiro's unconventional blend of modalities and schools of thought are felt in his approach to sound healing from an Urban Nada Yogi perspective. His time as a DJ/ Turntablist in his formative years is the inspiration on how he seamlessly blends traditional sound healing instruments like; 17th century Himalayan singing bowls, Tingshas with modular synth tones and textures, binaural beats and a drum machine programed with polyrhythms to induce a trance like state, designed to move stuck energy and get your body moving. Shiro's analog modular synth is used as a vibrational sound alter that is used in a spiritual conversation of call and response of frequencies. In a form of musical meditation Shiro interconnects different synth modules that generate a vast spectrum of frequencies found in nature from the cellular level ascending to outer space and other dimensions to build a symphony of sound waves, tones, and patterns that will take the listener on a mystical journey through inner space.
