Venezuela has become that topic you can’t escape, even when you’re miles away. Some might ask, why would you want to escape? Because it’s not easy to have a conversation about what’s happening in our country. It’s incredibly hard to put it into words.
But hope remains intact. I see the horizon looking more beautiful than ever before. I see Venezuela shining again, becoming a beacon of light for all of us who once left.
In my TBT, I found myself reminiscing about the day I attended the gathering you see in the photos. Those who know me are aware that I’m not a fan of these kinds of events or being surrounded by so many people.
But I decided to go, and what I felt there was magical—so many brothers and sisters with a story in their suitcase 🧳 and countless anecdotes about living in a borrowed country. The sun shone down on us all that day, as if signaling that we will see Venezuela rise again. I feel it in my heart ❤️.
