Many people choose their business to succeed. And they struggle to get fast results with various marketing and strategies every day.
But many of them easily give up business. Because they did not get the results that they want “easily”.
And they start an excuse.
“I wanted to grow my business, but I did not have enough money.”
or
“The marketing strategy worked well, but I was unlucky.”
Can you understand their attitude? Surprisingly, a lot of people are doing similar excuses. Especially those who have started their business for the first time, they believe that they can easily achieve it.
Of course, they also make a lot of effort at first. they learn the latest marketing strategies and apply the latest design trends. And they look forward to the results.
Unlike expectations, however, dramatic success can not be achieved like movies. And they feel disappointed but they try a few more. But in the end they give up. And they comfort themselves that they was not lucky.
Are they really not lucky?
I have a friend who is doing business. He has made good profits in two years since he started his business. Now his business is stable and have a couple of employees. On weekends, he enjoy travel abroad.
When look at this friend, people around him always say:
“He has a lot of luck. I would have been able to grow my business if I had better luck.”
“He’s got a good idea, so it’s easy.”
They see and evaluate only the present success that he has made. But his business was not easy. It was not luckier than others, nor was it a good idea. Even when he started the business for the first time, his income was $0. he did not earn a penny. Everyone around him said that the business would never get success.
At one point he started to raise a profits a little bit. But still, the profit was less than $100 per month. So did he give up the business? He has been doing the same business for months after that, with almost no income. He invested 18 hours a day in the business and went to work on foot every day to save transportation expenses.
He may have felt desperation every day. he may have had to do it because it was already started. But he did not give up and eventually succeeded.
Others complained that they did not achieve as much as they thought. But he did more effort silently.
Investing 18 hours a day without a weekend is not necessarily a success. But if you set your own goals and goals in your own way, you should try your best.
Many people are obsessed with the results of the successes that was done now. They do not think about the efforts that have been made to create that success. They seem to have a vague expectation that they will succeed someday like a movie or drama.
They talk about it.
“I do not want to spend too much time in the business. I have invested a lot of time in my job and now I want to invest less time. Because I want to enjoy a little more leisurely life.”
“I just started my business and it does not come out better than I expected. I have less income than when I work in my job. I do not need to keep doing things that are hard to earn. I think it ‘s better to just go back into the company.”
Do you think there will be a business that will generate hundreds of millions of billions of dollars in revenue from the start? Even the best ideas would not have earned a dollar at first.
Many people do not want to spend a lot of time in business. They are afraid. It is a fear that as the business grows it will have to invest more time.
But my friend, who spent 18 hours a day including the weekend, is now working less than 40 hours every week. Of course, he still enjoy traveling during the remaining time.
If you want to get some results in the short term while doing business, please think about how much time and effort you should actually spend for the achievement.
And another one. Efforts to endeavor are nothing more than a waste of time. If you have decided to invest time in something, you should do your best at that time.
