A few days ago Santa left a few gifts under the steemit tree. One of them went to @warrkin. After a bit of chat he decided he wanted a new avatar, which was supposed to be a lion in a suit.
I did a quick doodle.
And this is the end result lol.
It didn’t work out as a doodle, so at the end I just vectored it … and since he was such a good boy this year he also got a matching signature.
All of this raised some questions. What are doodles? Well, supposedly doodles is what your pen and mind produce when you are mindlessly drifting during a lecture, work meeting, long phone conversation, etc., you get the picture.
I of course don’t do mine mindlessly. But I only use an old flash program and a mouse for my illustrations. I can’t really say they are a work of art. To me, they are just doodles. Fast pictures with a bit of humor sprinkled with some sugar that are used to get my point across faster.

Hope this clarified a few things for some and next time I might explain the difference between thumbnails, dividers, banners, headers, signatures, avatars, etc.
