I took these images while enjoying the sunshine and salt air as I walked around the rocks at Turners Beach in Yamba, NSW, Australia.
Turners Beach is easily accessible from the main street of Yamba and is a short walk from the nearby caravan and camping park. Well protected in most conditions, it's an ideal spot to swim and to learn how to surf.
And if calmer waters are your thing, Whiting Beach is located on the Clarence River side of the breakwall practically right behind Turners Beach. The waters of Whiting Beach are calm and crystal clear. It's the perfect spot for families with young kids.
