You need first learn basics from what position cards can attack and then you learn abilities.

Frontier is good to learn at start because you have not much abilities so you can learn slowly.

Just remember ranged attackers at the backline,tanks with void ability versus heavy magic at the front, you can use taunt tanks with higher mana and you can use any card with sneak, opportunity, snipe it always will make damage but hide them behind your tanks.
