From time to time I make a big opening in the Splinterlands. So far I was able to get 100 rare draws which is 1 full bath of rare cards. Total cost of that opening is pretty big but I have so many glints from EOS. I decided to open them all without using alchemy potions. I think 5 alchemy potions for single card is a lot and it only change chance of getting gold foil by 0.5% so normaly it is only 0.5% but with potion is is 1% so yeah only 0.5%. I like more to use potions for epics or for legendaries where from 1% it jump to 2%. Of course there is a need to pay more 10 alchemy potions for epic and 20 alchemy potions for a legendary card but compared to cost of single card it is acceptable at least for me. Anyway many times I opened rare cards with or without potions and result was the same - 0 gold foil cards haha. So it doesn't matter at all if I use them of not.
150k glints for 100 rare cards. 1500 glints for each card. Confirmation that I don't use any alchemy potions this time.
I have less than 1k alchemy potions and my guild still didn't get enough scrolls for a max level discount so yeah I need to wait with alchemy potions purache. I want to get 10% discount and now if I good remember I have only 8% discount. So for me best option is just wait until our members of guild get enough daily scrolls to get our building for max level!
I opened them via my phone but my keychain browser crashed haha too many cards and I think my phone was out of RAM. Anyway I can check results on peakmonsters so we will see if I got any gold foil card this time! :D

Maybe I'm blind but I don't see there any gold foil card haha. Maybe next time. Really if someone think that is really easy to get gold foil cards I can say nope. It's not easy. Maybe there are some lucky folks which pull gfs with no problem but it seems that I don't belong to them haha. I had some good openings in my long opening history but really to pull something cool I need to be extremly lucky. Tell me if you ever got something cool which you didn't expect before opening? Maybe a black foil from lottery or gold foil card which is extremly rare? Let me know!
