Opening 48 Diamond Loot Chests for EoS Rewards on July 15th & Opening 10 Chaos Legion Packs
Ahoy everyone! Yesterday on July 15th the latest season in Splinterlands has ended! I recorded my opening like an hour after the season ended, uploading a day later though as I had some stuff to do and didn't get to write the post yet.
Just like last season all of my Ranked battles have been in the Modern format. Where I played in Gold for the whole season. Near the end of the season I had a few losses and then got another win while I was trying to get one more win in to get to 48 End of Season Loot Chests. Which also got me another chest for my Daily Focus too! Luckily I didn't continue losing that much because my rating was once again slowly dropping with like 3 or so losses there. I still had enough rating for Diamond 3 so I advanced and waited for the season to end.
So yeah I ended this season with 48 Diamond End of Season chests, that's 3 less chests than last season and still a quite good amount.
From opening those 48 Diamond Loot Chests I get the following rewards displayed in a screenshot from splintershare info made by deadzy
Here are those rewards in bullet list:
- SPS: 107.6
- Merits: 1300
- Legendary Potions: 77
- Alchemy Potions: 93
- Chaos Legion Pack: 4
Way less SPS than the last two seasons but still got just over a 100 so that's quite nice! Also around 1300 merits so that's not so bad it's just over half for a Gladius Case.
I did get a lot more Potions this time around, so I guess part of why I got way less SPS is that I actually had more chests with Potions compared to with SPS this time.
Oooohh 4 Chaos Legion Packs in the chests too, that's quite awesome!
Let's look at the cards now.
Common Cards:
- 1x Willy Coyotian

- 11x Ferox Defender

Rare Cards:
- 5x Venari Marksrat

Aww my hoping for a Legendary this time has been in vain as once again no Legendary in these Season Ending Loot Chests :(
I did get two drops with Epic, unfortunately still no sign of that Epic Clock card though!
BUT that copy of Iidri Fyre is the one I needed to get her to level 2 where she gets the Redemption ability. That might be fun! Definitely upgrading her soon!
Ah too bad this time no Gold Foil cards in them. I did just get like 5 Gold Foil Octavia Shadowmeld a day or two before so that was definitely great though!
Time to open 10 Chaos Legion Packs like I usually do after claiming my End of Season rewards. From those 10 packs I get the following cards, leaving out the Common Cards (except for Gold Foil).
Common Card:
- 1x GOLD FOIL Gargoya Scrapper
Rare Cards:
- 1x Time Mage
- 1x Djinn Apprentice
- 1x GOLD FOIL Dhampir Stalker
- 1x River Nymph
- 1x Diemonshark
- 1x Mycelic Infantry

- 1x Regal Peryton
- 1x Mycelic Slipspawn
- 1x Kelya Frendul
Epic Cards:
- 1x Tusk the Wide
- 1x Gem Meteor
Legendary Card:
- 1x Legionnaire Alvar
Alright not bad some Gold Foils showing up here at least with a Gold Foil Common Gargoya Scrapper and a Gold Foil Rare Dhampir Stalker.
Also 11 Rares, 2 Epics and 1 Legendary is definitely a good amount above the minimum guarantee. Pretty good for sure!
Gem Meteor is a card that I haven't really used much, I should definitely level it up so it gains more Ranged attack. One reason I haven't used it much is that Scattershot rarely works in my favour xP But perhaps in a ruleset with Blast it can be really nice especially with its high speed.
My Legionnaire Alvar is currently level 2, it'd be nice to use this one I got in the packs and buy 2 more to upgrade it to level 3 as it gets the Demoralize ability then.
