Essentially meaning, for those in that country that hold all of their wealth in their "dollars", their net worth is going like this right now:

Other currencies this year to implode:

Venezuela -- This year their currency devalued by 23,000% according to the official numbers.

Iran -- Their Rial has been destabilizing since before 2015, losing around 15% this year.

Argentina -- They've lost almost of their net worth since 2017.

The loss of confidence in these currencies has given the US dollar a jolt up in value as people panic and switch over to it. Problem is that the Turkish banks don't have a lot of US dollars for their people. So the Turkish stock markets are bleeding out and people's bank accounts are getting destroyed.

Good news for them, though, their central bank took their 200 tons of gold back -- we may see them move back towards a gold-backed currency. We, however, have no idea how much gold the United States owns for itself.
