Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest. This week I chose to draw “Fenmoor Haunt”.
This card has got some charms. The colors used in this card are all right, they go together so well. I wanted to draw the female version so then I started sketching a girl covered with a veil around her. This character’s hair is not shown so I went on coloring it on my own using green but a different tone. I wanted it to go together with the other colors as well.
After coloring the background I decided to change it at the end because though it was green it didn’t have harmony with other colors so much. It was just not right. What I really liked about this drawing was her hair. I somehow managed to add the strings more realistically than before.
It looked as if something was coming out of his skin, I changed it a little bit and showed it in the background as her aura.
I noticed the character had some marks on his skin so at the end I drew tattoos on her skin. It looked better with it. ^^
It’s one of my favorite works I worked on until now because of the harmony of colors.
