Here’s my entry for the Splinterlands Art Contest. I drew the portrait of “Drybone Barbarian” for this week’s contest.
I usually didn’t draw male characters because I wasn’t very good at drawing their portraits. Male facial features are totally different and every time I tried to draw them, it would somehow turn out feminine 😄
So I’m just so happy with this portrait
It’s masculine and devilish 😄 all those yellow parts I mean his eyes, scars, and accessories just gave it some interesting glow.
For coloring the skin, first I colored the face with gray and black then used slate grey on top of it. I liked its shade of gray.
As his hair is white and grayish I just focused on drawing the hair strands.
