Here’s my drawing for the Splinterlands Art Contest. This time I decided to draw a male portrait so I chose to draw “Ruler of the Seas”. I wanted to draw it differently, so I drew a much more handsome version of him. Even though he looks handsome, he‘s scary at the same time.
What I really liked about this card was his eyes and his skin tone. You know, the eyes are just the most important part of the face... just by changing its shape his whole expression changes. That’s why I really like drawing them and creating new expressions.
For the skin tone, I mixed indigo blue, and grey together and I used a white pen to draw and create some highlights in his eyes.
Since I received some feedback about the way I photograph my work, I tried to improve it... Hope you like it ^^
