Hello everyone and welcome to my contest! I decided to try something a little different this time and want to introduce a battle contest!
The idea is that I'd like to highlight a battle or two featuring some strange, exciting, or FRUSTRATING battles for your viewing pleasure!
How This Will Work
This community is great and very welcoming to newcomers. If you browse PeakD, you'll see just how much user generated content there is which ranges from basic how to play guides, to more advanced strategies from the top leaderboard players, to investment advice!
To do my part in giving back, I'm starting a giveaway!
The rules are simple:
- Comment below with an interesting, strange, or hilarious battle (don't forget to include your in-game name)
- Provide a short comment on what makes your battle unique or special
- Upvote this post
- Entries must be entered before the post pays out (7 days from when I post).
- You may submit up to 3 entries but you can only win once.
That's it!
If I select your battle to be featured on my next post, I'll send you a prize! Runner-up prizes will also be given!
Prizes for this Week
For this week, I'll be sending the winner of the Featured Battle a GOLD Pelacor Conjurer and the two runner-ups a Naga Assassin and Twilight Basilisk! You won't want to miss out on this one!

Featured Battle Winner: @Stekene!
Congratulations @stekene! Your battle was chosen as today's winner!
We had a lot more participation this week and it was difficult finding a winner. But after much deliberation, my wife and I chose your battle as the winner.
What set this one just above the others was the fact that your opponent actually played a good lineup, but too good to the point that it ultimately led to Grum feasting on the little guys.
It seems that Mylor should be able to shred a full melee lineup with no problem. Add the Shield ability onto that and you might just have a runaway victory. Grum's Bloodlust had other plans, however.
When Melee Actually Beats Mylor
Like I mentioned before, the Thorns damage is completely taking out stekene's backline. They're hitting Mycelic Infrantry for 0 damage and receiving a killing blow in return. It all works out in stekene's favor since Grum ends up at the front of the line where he gets to feed on those little 1 hit/1 kill monsters, powering his Bloodlust.
I find it so funny that without Mylor (which is usually dominant against melee attackers) stekene's opponent could have possibly won!
Congratulations again @stekene!
Runner-Up #1: @Jim-crypto with the Undying Knight and Eagle
Sometimes it doesn't matter if you're outgunned by your opponent when you can Repair and Heal your way to victory. Watch this one to the end to understand how frustrating it can be.
Very well played by @jim-crypto!
Runner-Up #2: @Amaillo-m with the Complete Debuff
My wife described this battle as "Girl Scouts waling on a brick wall."
To her point, these monsters sure do have a bunch of "badges."
Amaillo-m perfectly countered his opponent with the double Silence and Void. They barely made it past Harklaw and definitely had no chance of getting by Cornealus.
Congrats again, @Amaillo-m!
Thanks for Stopping By
Thank you everyone for the entries! This was our biggest turnout so far. Even though they were not chosen as the winner or runner-ups, I'll be sending @henruc,
@shawnmichael-gt , and
@pero82 a consolation card just for participating.
Congrats to all of the winners and thanks again for checking out this post. I hope it was fun and enjoyable content for you.
Make sure to leave a comment with your battle for a chance to win!
