There were times when I become an ineffective leader because I was still putting my needs above the others.
I think Leadership isn't just one aspect but has to be fluid with the situation, timelines, and general outcome of events and that might be switching out the role to different people depending on their ability to handle what the current situation calls for. So I wouldn't feel too bad if a situation or event changes and there are some faults or lacks that come up during the role of leadership. My experiences with leadership comes from gaming with groups. Different group content requires a different thought process and leadership type that knows what is going on and how to make best use of what is available at the time, positioning, and other elements that occur during a match.
Thank you for sharing your insight on the leadership role. Many nuances of a person can be exposed while in that leadership position but they can also be polished and improved once realized.
