Black thick paper is interesting to feel and write on
I was offered a Journal with Black paper and I accepted thinking it would be interesting to write in. I was right, but after the white pen that came with the Journal ran out of ink (Pen on the side) I've been having trouble finding a suitable replacement!
Colored pens fade into the black and some of the ball points on other pens refuse to roll and leave ink on the thick gloss-esque pages, and finding another pen with white ink that doesn't smudge or have runny/messy drawing capabilities has been tough.
So my warning would be to think twice about buying a Journal that features unique pages or can only be drawn with a certain pen, it may sound cool now but once the realization hits it will be too late!
