I played this Tales a few years ago, not that many years ago, and at the beginning I also found it tedious and slow. The first few hours they take their time to explain the story and mechanics of the game but they make it a bit heavy. But I can assure you that later it gets interesting and somewhat intriguing, at least for me, I will not try to convince you because the final opinion is up to you, what I can tell you is good luck on that journey, my friend.
