The ritual of the Dancing Devils of Corpus Christi celebrated in the town of Naiguatá on the central coast of Venezuela, is a perfect example of how popular religiosity is lived in the Venezuelan Caribbean. The streets and houses open up in a syncretic party in the greatest of senses, charged with a very joyful and heterogeneous devotion and spirituality, family and collective.
The creation of the masks and costumes that are renewed year after year, are true experiences of artistic and collective creation, where the contemporary popular imagination of the Naiguatá residents can be collected in high relief.
The Dancing Devils of Corpus Christi are recognized by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

El ritual de los Diablos Danzantes de Corpus Christi celebrado en el pueblo de Naiguatá en la costa central de Venezuela, es un perfecto ejemplo de cómo se vive la religiosidad popular en el Caribe venezolano. Las calles y las casas se abren en una fiesta sincrética en el mayor de los sentidos, cargada de una devoción y espiritualidad muy alegre y heterogénea, familiar y colectiva.
La creación de las máscaras y trajes que se renuevan año tras año, son verdaderas experiencias de creación artística y colectiva, donde se puede recoger en alto relieve, el imaginario popular contemporáneo de los pobladores de Naiguatá.
Los Diablos Danzantes de Corpus Christi son reconocidos por la UNESCO, como Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad.
