**Stolen shamelessly from Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series, the concept of a dungeon dimension is an intriguing one. **
This piece: "Cells of Jeriko" calls upon many influences. One, as mentioned above, a kind of prison dimension. Think of the Phantom Zone in the Superman comics.
Second,I'm a H.P.Lovecraft fan from way back. The idea of immortal beings, utterly alien and beyond our understanding, calls to me.
Third, the title itself speaks of an interest in biblical mythology. The notion of Jeriko (intentional misspelling) speaks of the possibility of escape, and the cosmic evil trapped within escaping to corrode our reality once more.
