I create new characters for Splinterlands - Skador (ENG/ITA)

Hello everyone, also in today's article I present to you a new character that I invented, obviously inspired by the fantastic world of @splinterlands. The character I created is called Skador, he is a very powerful warrior with an exceptional strength, Skador is now a free man but he forged himself in a thousand battles that took place in all the arenas of the universe, in fact he was a very powerful Gladiator . Direct and fast attacks are his winning strategy, he never defends himself because he only thinks about attacking his opponent. To create this character I wanted to imagine a space gladiator with barbaric elements, a powerful physique and minimal armor, armed with two large daggers. Below I want to show you the final result and the hypothetical card of @splinterlands.

As always happens with this type of illustrations, the creative process was a lot of fun, usually when I create drawings of this type I start from a drawing done very quickly, thanks to which I can realize the ideas, then I create a definitive drawing and only finally I go ahead. to the coloring, first in solid color then I add lights and shadows. The final result is faithful to the idea I had initially, the only doubts I had were whether to put a helmet or leave it with long hair, in the end I opted to add the helmet. Below I show you the main stages of the creative process.

Ciao a tutti, anche nell'articolo di oggi vi presento un nuovo personaggio che ho inventato, ovviamente ispirato al fantastico mondo di @splinterlands . Il personaggio che ho creato si chiama Skador, è un potentissimo guerriero dalla forza eccezionale, Skador ora è un uomo libero ma si è forgiato in mille battaglie avvenute in tutte le arene dell'universo, infatti è stato un potentissimo gladiatore. Attacchi diretti e veloci sono la sua strategia vincente, non si mette mai in difesa perchè pensa solo ad attaccare il suo avversario. Per creare questo personaggio ho voluto immaginare un gladiatore spaziale con elementi barbari, un fisico possente e un armatura minimale, armato di due grossi pugnali. Qui di seguito voglio mostrarvi il risultato finale e l'ipotetica carta di @splinterlands .

Come accade sempre con questo tipo di illustrazioni, il processo creativo è stato molto divertente, solitamente quando creo disegni di questo tipo parto da un disegno fatto molto velocemente, grazie al quale riesco a concretizzare le idee, successivamente creo un disegno definitivo e solamente infine passo alla colorazione, prima a tinte piatte poi aggiungo luci ed ombre. Il risultato finale è fedele all'idea che avevo inizialmente, l'unico dubbi che mi sono posto era se mettere un elmo o lascialo con i capelli lunghi, alla fine ho optato per aggiungere l'elmo.
