I think Ethereum will be replaced or supplanted with something like ATOM. The gas fees now are absurd. If it costs this much to transfer money it defeats the purpose of crypto.

The gas prices really make it untenable at the moment. There's no reason to move ETH if 15-20% is going to Gas fees. You're better off with fiat and stocks if this is the future of defi.

We still don't get financials, where exactly money is going and so on. Roadmaps are if we're lucky but we still don't know how every dollar is spent and allocated.

I would add - fundamentals. We have objective data for what a stock/company is doing. We have no idea what each coin and their team is doing.
