The other day I had an interesting dream.. a hummingbird was hovering very close to my right ear, like whispering some secrets for me to hear.. that was very deep and vivid experience, and I could feel into its spirit. Then I saw myself on the stairs in front of a massive building, and I saw very clearly a pillar of light descending down from the sky.. I was positioning myself right underneath.
Today right outside of an open window in my bathroom there was sitting a tiny hummingbird on a branch, and I got to sing for it, and he would listen to me very attentively, and wasn't afraid of me being so close! I adore connecting with their medicine!
Some years ago I blessed myself with a hummingbird feather in my third eye, and few days later, around the Solstice, a hummingbird flew in, and got trapped inside of the Solar Culture gallery. We found it the next day laying motionless on the floor, covered in cobwebs. He was looking like he is dead, but I grabbed it in my hands, I made some sugar water, and I sat with it where the Sun was still shining. I would breathe into it, and offering some water.. at first he wasn't responding, but with time I could feel its heart beating more and more intensely. Then he stretched one wing, and another, slowly lifting his head.. after a while he was sitting in my hand, asking for water with his tongue, and looking at me with the eyes of love!=)
that was so precious!! I got to hang out with him for over an hour. In the most perfect time he flew away into the Sunset.
When my heart is pure & fully open, I can see hummingbirds hovering around it!;) Are they attracted to the divine nectar?;)
