I made a double storage pencil box this time. This one consists of two boxes of the same size, made by folding paper. The lid of the box is decorated with lines. I also added paper hearts and a picture of a white rabbit sitting in a cupcake. This one is made only with colored paper. I think this one would be really useful for pencils and pens. If I could make a bigger box using extra large paper, I think I could use it to store not only pencils but also other things. I show you step-by-step pictures of how to make it. I also write with texts.
First, cut a piece of pink paper by equal length and width with 21cm. Folded the paper in half four times and made a center point. Folded the four corners to the center point.
Unfolded the paper. Folded each corner over the center point and to the other side. I have marked four marks on the paper.
Folded the four corners to the second lines again. Folded the two opposite sides according to the folded lines and folded the two opposite corners as well. Then continue folding as shown to form a box. Folded another box in the same way. Cut two pieces of yellow paper with 15cm and 7.5cm. Placed them inside the boxes.
Measured and drew the lines on the green paper as shown. Cut the edges from the middle. Folded the lines and glued the edges together to form a box shape. Placed a pink box inside the green box. Glued the other box on top of that box.
To make the lid, measured and drew lines on the green paper. Cut a piece of purple paper and drew blue lines on it. Glued this paper on the lid. Folded the lines and attached this paper to the box. I also painted around the edges of the inside of the lid.
In this step, I cut four pieces of paper. I painted around their edges. I placed each two identical pieces of paper in the box as shown and made two locks.
I made a paper bag to put inside the lid. For this bag, I measured the paper and drew lines on the paper and folded them. I glued them where needed. I painted the front of the bag with a blue marker. I placed it inside the lid.
I cut red paper hearts and glued them on the lid and the inside of the lid. I painted around the heart shapes with black color.
I needed to attach a handle to the box so I made a small roll of paper and glued it on the box.
The final step was to draw a picture to decorate the lid. It was a white rabbit sitting in a cupcake. I painted that picture and cut it out and decorated it on the lid. I think it would be even more beautiful if I replaced the red heart shapes and rabbit pictures with stickers.
After I made the box, took some beautiful pictures. I plan to make other boxes too. Because I need them too. I also plan to make a beautiful paper wall decor. I will make them gradually and share them. Thank you so much for your reading my post to the end.
