Today I make very beautiful origami lamps. Need to make three types of paper for shade, stem and base. The lamp shade is made by gluing four folds of paper of the same size together. I think they are very cute. I make two lamps, so I need to fold a lot of paper. There are pictures and write with texts on how to fold them step by step.
Needed materials
colored paper
glue
scissors
pencil
ruler
In the first step, four sheets of paper for the shade are cut by the same length and width with 8cm. Fold each one in half and fold both sides to the middle line. After spreading it, fold the two edges as shown and fold the top edge as well. Have to fold the top edges inward and fold one side according to the folding lines. I make another three and glue them together.
For the base, cut a piece of black paper by the same length and width with 7cm and fold it in half four times. In the next step, fold it inward according to the folding lines. Fold it in half and spread the two sides from the bottom as shown. Have to spread the two edges from above. Fold the four corners and fold them inward again. Cut a square piece of yellow paper and glue black fold of paper on it. After making a roll of black paper, attach and glue it with the shade as shown. Continue to glue it with the base.
Another one is made with green and black colors. After making them, I really like them. I have never made origami lamp like this before. But it is a bit difficult to fold them. I also take beautiful pictures. Thank you so much for your reading my post to the end.
