Panic Alarms
All of these alarms are under £5.99, the wrist watch styled one is called a defender wrist panic alarm. This is an ideal piece of kit as it is suited to running and does not require you to fumble about as much. As it is on your arm it can have combat uses - use your imagination.
The small blue one is ideal for low profile carrying and has an inbuilt torch which is a bonus, however the square blank one is ideal for wearing on your belt and comes with a wall attachment. Personally I take the blue and black one as a combination when I am out and about.
Cheap Candles
Tealights may only last a few hours but can fit in more places. You can also buy ones that repel mosquitoes, very useful for pandemics. Don't forget to buy longer lasting candles when you have the money.
Are a must, with both hand crank and solar powered options available. For hand cranks I favour the Duronic hand crank rechargeable lantern, which is quiet sturdy. For solar powered I have a Suaoki solar powered lantern and a generic orange one I purchased of Amazon (it has a sloped roof making it more efficient).
Most lanterns have extra ports to charge small appliances like mobile phones.
Torch
An LED torch is essential, but get one like this with a large battery which can also act as a power bank.
Just some ideas for prepping on a budget, it is also an easy way to get prepared.
