Killian woke to a deafening sound. Light exploded around him. He couldnt see, couldn't breath. There was only light. A blinding, misleading light.
"Hello!" He screamed into nothing but silence solid enough to make an echo. Nothing. He thought, this is death. There is no afterlife, just an overwhelming silence.
