I returned to a place where I was happy,
where time held its breath,
laughter floated like a nuance,
and the sun peeked out at every moment.
The walls were still the same colour,
creaking softly under the weight of yesterday,
whispers of dreams, an echo of love,
a canvas of life in an old sunset.
But, on returning, the air is different,
the echo of those days feels distant,
the laughter that once wove a song,
today they are dancing shadows, a wandering echo.
I returned looking for the warmth of the eternal,
but I found a whisper that made me understand,
that happiness, in its sincere journey,
is a fleeting glimmer to be learned.
