However, one of the jobs I shot the other week I managed to smash out in the edit reasonably quickly.
For this job I had an ace time shooting video for the Bands For Hire agency, once again filming at the brilliant Nave Studio in Leeds.
These chaps in the band smashed through a guitar fuelled repertoire of Valerie, Are You Gonna Be My Girl, A-Punk, Superstition and Shut Up and Dance With Me.
We had a solid set-up of 6 lights and decided to go handheld on this shoot to fit the tone of the band.
The live room is huge and gives us options to make it look as slick as possible, but there’s really no other way to shoot than against that huge brick wall.
They’re Northern lads too and have a charming grit to their delivery of the songs, especially the main vocalist.
Always fun to shoot and edit these kinds of videos.
