Being creative means you can solve or carry out any problem in a different way or method. I never knew I'm this creative, Until this Monday. My wife have left for work as usual living me at home because I have no job. My new job is on Hive but she wants me to add something to Hive but change of location is affecting me. We recently relocated to Asaba, we have tried to search for Job through many way but no positive results, I even try getting keke-napep on hire purchase but the cost scare me away, about 3million Naira for hire purchase.
On Monday morning around 10am, I was at home typing with my phone using WPS office, when her called entered. I ignored the called the first time because I didn't want any distraction, she called the second time which I later picked it up. She said she helped me to get a painting Job, I was scared of accepting the offer. Although I never learned how to paint but I have the idea of painting. I used to paint my family house but fear of destroying other's people house have always killing my painting skills.
So after many Motivational words and begging from my wife I agree to go for work, it was already 11am. So I dress up and went to my wife workplace to meet the client, I got there around 12noon. Before my arrival, she has already gotten some tools such as brush, roller, and scrappers, that I'll be needed. The client was a woman, I and the woman left my wife workplace together to her place. The place was too far that we got there around 1pm. So after the agreement of the price. I began the work, around 2pm. My painting skills wasn't like a professional painter, but I started with confidence which really helps me a lot. However, at the end, the client found my work rate highly professional and beautiful, that she had to cook for me, She prepare Eba and Egusi soup for me.
I left her place around 8pm, I was able to solved the work with my own idea, which is what creativity is all about and it works out fine. That was how my Monday went. My advise for anyone reading this is to always believe in themself and learn to explore their creative side.
