the same thing happened to me with the series but I couldn't continue after glenn's death

That means you didn't see Negan fell.
There were many good plots after Glenn's death but yeah it was heartbreaking.
Although I failed to enjoy the last episodes cause the story is becoming boring in some points although I'm still waiting for Rick to return with a big boom.
