Hey... there is no rule that you have to publish your post in the splinterlands community, so the first post was not a problem, in my sense.

Should I delete the original?

Definitely not as the original one already got some nice reward and there's no option to delete a post completely.
I'd suggest you stick with the original post here and everywhere and edit the duplicate one and write something new and make a different post than the original one.
